This week in the Life at Lakewood, we’re wrapping up October! Click the link below to read.
All Saints Sunday is November 7th. If you would like to show a photo of one of your loved ones who passed away in 2020 or 2021, please email Ty Revell ([email protected]) with a photo and their name. For those who passed prior to 2020, Mitzie Griffin is putting together a Saints cloth to show on the altar that Sunday. Contact her ([email protected]) to have your loved one’s name written on the cloth.
Cardboard City is November 12-13th. This is an awesome opportunity to explore ways we can help our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. If you would like more information on how to sign up and fundraise for Family Promise, please read the section in the Life at Lakewood.
We will have a free meal for all church members directly after worship on Sunday, October 31st. Chef Ron is preparing chicken, mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies. Come grab a plate and share a meal with your neighbors!
Lastly, we are updating our statement on COVID-19. While we have seen case numbers dropping nationally, we are still recommending that every member and visitor at our campus continue to wear a mask while on property. This is to ensure that we are taking our neighbor’s needs into consideration as more people join us in-person for worship and activities.
