COME JOIN US!Lakewood’s youth group gets together numerous times weekly to share in worship, study and have a lot of fun.
The youth group goes on numerous trips each year, including a choir tour that takes them all over the country and beyond, a winter retreat to the mountains of North Carolina, a hiking trip, and several others.
They get together for Sunday school, bible study, and UMYF weekly.

Our biggest gathering of the week, we meet for dinner at 6 pm followed by games, a lesson or program, and time for worship and discussion. We focus on the Scriptures both to help us better understand them and to see how we find ourselves within them and allow them to speak to our lives.
Wednesday Evenings
Once school ends on Wednesdays, youth can come to the Youth Room to play games, do homework, catch up with friends, etc.
Dinner is served downstairs in the Gym from 5:15 – 6:00 pm.
Around 6:15 pm we have our own program and discussion, usually wrapping up between 7:15 and 7:30 in the evening.
When the public schools have early-release Wednesdays, youth can meet for a late lunch at a nearby restaurant.
